Alsafa is a residential area located in the middle of the Umm Suqueim, Jumeirah, Al Manara, and Al Wasl neighborhoods. It is approximately 10 minutes away by car from Downtown Dubai, Kite Beach, Jumeirah Beach, and most of Dubai’s happening hotspots.
The secret to Alsafa’s accessibility lies in the network of roads that border it — namely, Al Wasl Rd, Al Manara Rd, and Sheikh Zayed Road. Although incredibly well-connected, Alsafa is relatively shielded from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis and remains one of the quieter neighborhoods in Dubai.
Safa Park, Dubai’s first public park, is one of Alsafa’s most notable features. This green haven has secret nooks where visitors can pass the time reading and relaxing, a track for biking and jogging, and tennis and basketball courts. There are barbecues set up around the park for those who wish to enjoy a picnic. Safa Park, Medcare Hospital Al Safa, and the many schools dotting the district make Alsafa one of the most family-friendly communities in Dubai.
Exciting times are ahead, however, as the addition of the Dubai Water Canal, which runs through Safa Park on its way from Dubai Creek to the Arabian Gulf, is starting to awaken the sleepy neighborhood and transform it into another waterfront destination in Dubai.
